As expected, Sony finally revealed today the release date and price for both PlayStation 5 editions.
The competition will be fierce in the next generation of consoles, since the price of the high-end model (with disc player) will be exactly the same as that of the Xbox Series X. On the other hand, the model without disc player will cost 100 euros less.

- PlayStation 5 Standard Edition – 499 euros
- PlayStation 5 Digital Edition – 399 euros
It should be noted that in addition to the absence of a record player, the PlayStation 5 Digital Edition is exactly the same as the regular edition. Neither model will have more performance capacity than the other.
When will PlayStation 5 be released?
It depends on where you live. Some lucky countries will receive the new Sony console on November 12, while everyone else will have to wait until November 19. The last group of countries includes Portugal and Brazil.
