The Portuguese Olympiacos manager commented on qualifying for the Champions League group stage after a 0-0 draw against Fabiano’s Omonia.

Group stage draw: “I have no preference for the draw, because all matches will be very demanding. However, I would like a trip to Portugal and I think I will. Let’s call it intuition.”

Olympiacos have not conceded goals in any of the games: “Not conceding goals in our games is a testament to our work in training. Our aim is to show, this season, how good our defense is. No team will find it easy to play against us, I guarantee it.”

Praise Fabiano, former FC Porto goalkeeper, now at Omonia: “Fabiano was excellent tonight and I have to congratulate him. If he hadn’t been, the result would have been different. I would also like to congratulate my players for their work, dedication and a deserved qualification.”

Analyze: “We are very happy with qualifying. We were in control, we were better and created many opportunities to score, but there was a player in Omonia who would not let us score.”
