The mayor of the city, Paulo Cunha, wrote to the ministers of Labor and Solidarity and Social Security and Justice, requesting an urgent response to the closure of the respective services in Famalicão, for confirmed cases and lockdown of employees due to covid-19.
The Famalicão Social Security, Civil Registry and Notary services have been closed since Thursday, without public assistance. The mayor speaks “in a serious scenario” and asks for a response that “addresses the lack of response from services” to the public.
On the other hand, Paulo Cunha recalls that in previous situations he had already warned of the lack of employees in these services “which generates a huge gap in the programming of assistance to the public and in the handling of cases”, now aggravated “by the national context we live in. “
