The third phase of the National Vaccination Campaign against Influenza (flu) begins next Monday (11). With the intention of avoiding crowds, it is divided into two stages, the first from May 11 to 17, aimed at children (from six months to less than six years), pregnant women, postpartum babies of up to 45 days and people with disabilities.
In the second stage, from May 18 to June 6, the vaccination will be applied to public and private school teachers and adults from 55 to 59 years old. Vaccination is also maintained for groups in the first and second phase.
Day “D” of the national vaccination mobilization was canceled due to social isolation measures.
The influenza vaccine does not protect against the coronavirus, but will help health professionals diagnose Covid 19 by ruling out various types of influenza in screening the vaccinated population.
Everyone must have a vaccination card and a SUS card. In case of queuing, it is requested to maintain a distance of at least two meters from the others, mainly the elderly.
