The Chamber of Barcelos announced, this Tuesday, the programming of the Gil Vicente Theatro for the month of November, which includes music, cinema, dance and theater.

The cinema begins the Gil Vicente program, with the Associação ZOOM – Cineclube de Barcelos presenting five sessions: “Cycle: States of Youth (1st part), on the 3rd; “Cycle: Juvenile States (2nd part), day 4; “Cycle: States of Youth (3rd part), on the 5th. These short films are part of the World Cinema Day that is celebrated on November 5.

The seventh art continues on the 10th with “Ordem Moral”, by Mário Barroso, and “The year of the death of Ricardo Reis”, by João Botelho, on the 17th. The sessions begin at 9:30 p.m. with paid admission.

On the 7th, with two sessions, at 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., the GDA Foundation promotes an action to disseminate and raise awareness about “Copyright and Related Rights”. Admission is free and the action allows the issuance of a certificate of participation.

The music fills three days of programming, starting with the concert of the Barcelonan musician João Dias, finalist of the Got talent, on the 14th, with free admission; on the 19th it was the turn of Tresor & Bosxh’s Cine-Concert, a show inserted in the concert tricycle cycle, and on the 26th “Tomorrow is the question”, by Demian Cabaud Quarteto, from the Largo Jazz Series. In the field of educational service, a program dedicated to the school community, on the 11th the Theater will host two sessions, at 10:30 and 14:30, of children’s theater with the play “Em Pessoa” by CTB – Companhia de Braga Theater.

The theme “Family on TGV” is reserved on the afternoon of Sunday 15, at 4:00 pm, with the musical “A Casinha de Chocolate”, by GrowUp Eventos.

On the 21st, at 10:00 pm, the Barcelos Dance School, in continuity with the celebrations of its 25 years, invites Doctor Assério to a show where Ballet and Rock are presented in one, with the show “Ballet N ‘Rock.’ The ticket has a value of three euros.

On November 27, 28 and 30, the Barcelos Young Fadistas Cycle begins with the Barceloso fado singers Sónia Lopes, Mário Bruno and Joana Lopes, respectively. This initiative is organized by the Casa da Juventude, starting at 9:30 p.m., at the Gil Vicente Theater.

Also within the framework of the cultural program for the month of November, the auditorium of the Municipal Library receives, on the 6th, at 10:00 p.m., the Evols concert, inserted in the tricycle. The entrance costs three euros.
