The offer of this equipment, which is part of the Marecos MedPharma line, developed by the company to meet the needs of the different clients it has in this sector, was made directly to the National Health Service, for a total amount of 13,500 euros.

“This is a fight for everyone and as such we could not be left behind. With the purchase of thousands of tests by the Government, and with the consequent test to which thousands of Portuguese will be subjected, we anticipate that there could be a shortage of conservation capacity and due to the storage of this sensitive material by the competent authorities . We hurried to get in touch, to understand what the needs were and, also based on our many years of experience working with the health sector, we quickly reached an understanding ”, explains Edite Ferreira, Director of Olitrem.

The company has a strong and continuous social responsibility policy, regularly developing important solidarity actions not only for the company’s employees but also for the community in which it operates.

Founded in 1964 as Marecos Lda, Olitrem currently has 190 employees and currently operates mainly in the area of commercial and industrial cold, for the hotel, restaurant and beverage industry, but also for the medical area.
