Barret will replace Ruth Bader Ginsburg, a liberal judge who passed away on Friday.

The nomination promises to create a great discussion in American society, not long after a presidential election that promises to be tough and may even end up in the Supreme Court.

With the name of Amy Coney Barret confirmed, Justices of the Supreme Court with a pending conservator will have a majority of 6 against the highest court in the United States of America.

Barrett is the third choice for a Supreme Court Justice since Donald Trump took office. He also appointed Neil Gorsuch in 2017 and Brett Kavanaugh as early as 2018.

The nine Supreme Representatives are appointed to serve their entire lives. The decisions that come out of this court usually define the country’s public policies, from cases related to weapons, to abortions and even campaign financing.

In recent years, this court has allowed gay marriages in all 50 states, allowed Muslims to control entry into the country, and delayed the plan to cut carbon emissions.

A judge on the Chicago Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, a devout Catholic who worked with former Conservative Judge Antonin Scalia, Barrett was “deeply honored” by Trump’s confidence at a ceremony on the White House lawn.

Barrett will have been on the list of possible nominees in 2018, when Trump chose Brett Kavanaugh to replace Anthony Kennedy.

At age 48, if confirmed, Barrett will be the youngest judge on the United States Supreme Court, where all nine elements can remain for life.
