The unregistered deputy Joacine Katar Moreira will not vote against the State Budgets for 2021, confirmed this Sunday to an official source from Lusa, with only one abstention missing for the Government to obtain approval of the document in general.

According to an official parliamentary source contacted by the Lusa agency, the unregistered deputy Joacine Katar Moreira (former Livre) “will not make the State Budget for 2021 generally unviable,” leaving the options to vote in favor or abstain.

Whatever the option chosen by the deputy, this is in addition to the abstention of the three PAN deputies announced this Sunday and the same position announced on Friday by the PCP, leaving the Government needing only one more abstention to ensure that the document is done possible in the first vote and goes to the specialty stage.

The Left Bloc is expected to announce its vote today, at 8:30 p.m., at the end of a meeting of the National Bureau, while the Green Party “Os Verdes” will make its decision public on Tuesday, with the position of the deputy not registered Cristina Rodrigues (ex-PAN).

Voting for most of the Budget is Wednesday, in parliament and, if approved, follows a specialty period, in detail, before the final global vote, scheduled for November 26.

The PS government is negotiating with the left-wing BE, PCP, PEV and the People-Animal Nature Party (PAN), but there is still no public guarantee that it will be approved.

PSD, CDS and Chega and Liberal Initiative have already announced their vote against.
