Manufacturer shows which graphics settings to use for competitive performance

The American hardware manufacturer, Nvidia, released a new guide showing how to reach 144 frames per second in-game Battle Royale Call of Duty: Warzone. For this, the company recommends which video card to use and which settings to prioritize to achieve this performance.

According to the company, you need at least one GeForce RTX 2060 Super to reach 144 fps in Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels) with the graphic options configured at the top.

Despite this, Nvidia notes that Activision I’ve been reviewing the recommended competitive specs for the game. Now, the suggestion is that gamers use an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080, RTX 2070 Super, or AMD Radeon RX Vega 64 to achieve high frame rates.

At the same time, the manufacturer’s staff also released a list of graphics optimized to focus on the highest possible performance, while maintaining a minimum of competitive image quality.

This guide is recommended for anyone who wants to reach 240 frames per second on cards like the RTX 2080 Ti, but it can also be used to achieve 144 fps on less powerful cards, or even to drive 60 frames per second if you have an input PC.

As you can see in the images below, the company’s strategy focuses on reducing rendering resolution to 90% of Full HD (1728 x 972 pixels), reducing textures, reducing shadow quality and disabling aesthetic effects. (such as ambient occlusion and reflections).

The company’s engineers also recommend that you always play in full-screen mode, as it reduces system latency. Also, you can enable Nvidia’s sharpness filter through the control panel, which basically negates the loss of quality caused by the lower resolution.
