northone Santos, director-general of TVI, spoke to journalists at the end of the ‘Cristina’s Day’ program and commented on the controversial expulsion of André Filipe from the ‘Big Brother – A Revolution’ program.
“What happened in the last hours was a set of repeated behaviors that are not acceptable and therefore we had to act”, begins by explaining Nuno Santos, ensuring that the decision was made by himself during a meeting held this Wednesday afternoon.
“If we were talking about an isolated act that could be solved, that would be solved,” he continues, reinforcing the idea that the competitors are accompanied by psychologists and that what motivated André’s expulsion were their abusive behaviors.
Regarding the fact that André Filipe has already shown other behaviors since the beginning of the week that for many were considered disrespectful without ever being penalized, in contrast to what happened in the previous edition of the program, the director-general of TVI explains that the situations and programs are not comparable: “I think that what we have had so far from him has not justified an appointment direct, and what happened today dictated expulsion direct“.
