“Ser Feliz” is the new song by the musical group Sons do Minho, which promises to “brighten this atypical summer”.

In a statement sent to O MINHO, the band highlights “the value of affection, intergenerational and multiracial relationships” with this new theme that appears in times of pandemic.

The video was broadcast live, this Friday, at 1:00 p.m., on the band’s Facebook and also on the social networks of the newspaper O MINHO.

“The paradisiacal landscapes and the party atmosphere that is reflected in the video clip, transmit the contagious energy that is already the hallmark of Sons do Minho,” the band writes.

“Let each of us know, with small gestures, Be happy in society ”, defends the group.

According to the band’s website, the group, from Viana do Castelo, is made up of eight young musicians who, since February 2010, have based their artistic proposal on a repertoire of original songs of a traditional and popular nature, as well as on the characteristics of cante. to challenge or deviate.

The intensity of the band’s themes, the playful tone implied by the challenging songs and the interactivity with the public transform their show into a “unique moment of joy and good humor”, very similar to the festivities and pilgrimages of Alto Minho.

The group performs dozens of concerts annually in Portugal and with Portuguese-speaking communities. Portugal, Spain, France, Germany, Switzerland, Canada, the United States of America, Luxembourg and Brazil are the countries where Sons do Minho has already performed in concert.
