Modern vaccine is 100% effective in severe cases

After two weeks of good news about the efficacy of the vaccine, it is time for pharmacists to request emergency clearance. According to some experts, vaccination can even begin before 2021, because the results of these vaccines guarantee good effectiveness.

According to the most recent information, Moderna’s vaccine is 100% effective in severe cases.

The American pharmaceutical company announced Monday that final test results for the Covid-19 vaccine confirm 94 percent overall effectiveness and 100 percent in severe cases.  There has not yet been a record of any serious illness developed as a result of this vaccine.  The company started the approval process with European and North American entities, reveals RTP.
According to the statement from the modern pharmaceutical company, the final results of the COVID-19 vaccine tests show an efficacy of 94.1 percent, reaching 100 percent when it comes to severe cases.  The tests in question included 196 participants with confirmed cases of COVID-19 disease, including 30 severe cases.  The pharmaceutical company also states that the vaccine "continues to be well tolerated in general, with no cases with serious effects identified to date."

Moderna will still apply for emergency clearance from the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) today.In the coming days, Moderna intends to proceed with the registration procedure at the World Health Organization (WHO).
Despite rapid advances, this vaccine is expected to reach the North American market first.  Moderna received $ 2.48 billion in federal funding from the United States as part of the Trump Administration's Operation Warp Spped.  Moderna guarantees that it will manufacture between 500 million and 1 billion doses globally in the next year.  Compared to the vaccine Pfizer, Moderna's does not need very low temperatures to be stored.  However, it is more expensive.
