The Portuguese was second fastest in combined times

This Saturday Miguel Oliveira achieved the second best time in the set of three free practice sessions for the Portuguese Grand Prix, thus advancing directly to Q2. The Red Bull KTM Tech3 rider stopped the clock at 1:39: 330 minutes, 125 milliseconds from Jack Miller, who over the checkered flag stole the best time of the day.

Racing at ‘home’, the Portuguese rider confirmed the trend of evolution compared to the previous day, improving by more than half a second compared to the best time on Friday, when he had set his best lap in 1: 39.946 minutes. This morning, with a higher pace, Miguel Oliveira managed to save himself for the final stage and ended up getting such a direct passage to Q2, that in a way it takes a load off him, because the trip to Q1 is always an additional reason for the Pressure. In addition to Jack Miller and Miguel Oliveira, Alex Rins, Andrea Dovizioso, Takaaki Nakagami, Fabio Quartararo, Pol Espargaró, Stefan Bradl, Franco Morbidelli and Maverick Viñales advance directly to Q2 (scheduled for 2:35 p.m.).
