Mbappé says goodbye to coach Thomas Tuchel before PSG confirms his departure
Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) forward Kylian Mbappé said goodbye to manager Thomas Tuchel, even before the French league club confirmed the German manager’s departure.
“Unfortunately it is the law of football, but no one will forget the times he spent here. Thank you coach,” said the French international on social media, also leaving words of thanks to the rest of the German coach’s technical team.
The international press has announced that Thomas Tuchel, who joined the club in the 2018/2019 season, will leave the technical command of PSG, but the French club has not yet confirmed his departure.
At the service of PSG, the 47-year-old coach won all national competitions last season (championship, French Cup and League Cup), in a season that started with the Super Cup.
The team also reached the Champions League final, played in Lisbon, but was defeated by the Germans from Bayern Munich (1-0).
This season, PSG remains third in the league, one point behind Lyon and Lille, while in the Champions League they qualified for the round of 16, now facing the Spanish from Barcelona.
