Today, the Region will have a curfew starting at 7 pm on weekdays, and commercial activities will close an hour earlier.

It is recalled that according to the resolution approved last Thursday by the Governing Council on measures to control the covid-19 pandemic, as of this Monday the prohibition of circulating on public roads will be in force again between 7:00 p.m. and 12:00 p.m. 5.00 hours on weekdays.

Also starting today, during the week, the commercial, industrial and service activities in the region must close at 6:00 p.m.

During the week of Carnival, the Regional Government had imposed more restrictive measures, having decreed that between Monday (15) and Friday (19) the curfew would be from 6:00 p.m. and shops and services would have to close an hour before. .

Since January, on weekends, the prohibition to circulate on public roads is between 6:00 pm and 5:00 am and commercial, industrial and service activities must close at 5:00 pm.

The president of the Provincial Council, Miguel Albuquerque, has already announced that the restrictions imposed by the covid-19 pandemic “will continue until Easter, but each of them will be evaluated week by week.”
