Today there are 19 new positive cases of covid-19 to report. These are three imported cases from the UK and 16 locally transmitted cases, most of which are already associated with previously identified contacts or positive case contexts.
Regarding the cases confirmed today, they are: four in the area of education, three children between 4 and 10 years old who attend educational establishments in the municipalities of Machico and Santa Cruz and an adult with professional activity in another. Three cases are related to the health area, identified in the field of in-hospital screening, namely, two patients hospitalized in SESARAM, EPERAM and a health professional assigned to the public service and the private sector.
