Madeira registers three new cases in Lisbon, Spain and Poland – dnoticias.pt

Today’s IASaúde newsletter, September 25, reports three new positive cases of covid-19, and the Autonomous Region of Madeira represents a cumulative total of 208 cases.

The three new cases are imported, from the Lisbon region and the Tagus Valley, from Spain and Poland. However, one of the infected will live in Ponta do Sol.

The region maintains a total of 153 recovered cases of covid-19, so there are now 55 active cases, of which 44 are imported cases identified in the context of surveillance activities implemented at the Madeira airport and 11 are cases of local broadcast.

Of the 55 positive cases, 28 people are isolated in a dedicated hotel unit and 27 in their own accommodation.

• To date, 16011 people are being monitored by the health authorities of the different municipalities in the region, through the ‘MadeiraSafe’ application, of which 7,464 of these people are under active surveillance. IASaúde also states that there are two situations that are being studied.

Until the end of 09/24/2020, in the SESARAM Clinical Pathology laboratory, 10,9333 samples were processed for analysis.
