Luís Filipe Vieira denies Pinto da Costa’s ‘support’ in the elections: “If someone criticizes me a lot, it’s him” – Benfica

Luís Filipe Vieira categorically denies that he has the support of Pinto da Costa for the next Benfica elections, after his opponents raised suspicions about it.

“If someone criticizes me a lot, it is Mr. Pinto da Costa. He knows who the ideal presidents were for him,” said Luís Filipe Vieira, in an interview with Antena 1, also believing that Domingos Soares Oliveira will continue in the SAD administration in next quarter. The candidate for the presidency of Las Águilas also highlights that he is fully aware of the judicial processes he is facing at the moment.

“I did not commit any illicit act at Benfica or that endangered my honesty. Benfica never protected me and will not protect me,” he guaranteed, reaffirming that what he did in relation to the Lex process “anyone would do.”
