Instead of Monday as planned, the batch is due tomorrow.

This Monday another batch of vaccines against the new coronavirus should arrive in Spain, but due to a logistical “incidence” at the Belgian Pfizer plant, delivery will have to be delayed, El Mundo said.

Now, Pfizer Spain explains that the incident has to do with a cargo and shipping problem, but the Ministry of Health said that the problem will be solved in time for the vaccines to be delivered tomorrow, Tuesday.

According to the same source, weekly batches of 350,000 doses are expected to arrive in Spain during the next 12 weeks, reaching a total of 4.5 million vaccines.

It should be remembered that this Sunday Spain and the rest of the member states of the European Union began vaccination against covid-19. In the neighboring country, the priority is health professionals, residents and workers in homes and centers for people with disabilities and dependencies.
