The chef Ljubomir Stanisic, a television star and one of the figures of the restoration movement “A Pão e Água”, has now been accused by the prosecution of a crime of active corruption and another of disobedience. It is suspected that he offered bottles of wine to a PSP agent in order to pierce the confinement.

The Portuguese chef, who has been on a hunger strike before the Assembly of the Republic in recent days, was charged on suspicion of having offered bottles of wine to a PSP agent to help him break the mandatory confinement at Easter. , to pass the court of Grândola, he found JN, who had access to the prosecution.

Ljubomir Stanisic, resident in Lisbon, will have, according to the Public Ministry, telephoned, on April 2, the brother of agent Nuno Marino saying that he wanted to spend the week with his wife, children, sister and mother-in-law in the property of who owns it, in that town of Setúbal. Contacted by his brother, the PSP agent, also accused in the process, offered to help the chef and his family cross the 25 de Abril bridge, where police controls are common due to traffic restrictions. In exchange, after a WhatsApp call between the two, Ljubomir gave police, even that day or the next, two bottles of wine and one of brandy or rum, the document says. On April 3, Nuno Marino himself used his personal car to allow the businessman and his family to cross the bridge, although at that time there was no police inspection.

The chef will also have contacted Marino two more times, asking him to also allow a friend of his to come by and verify the identity of certain holders of telephone numbers in the Police databases, which could not be confirmed. And on April 16, in a new contact, he will ask the agent if the “rum” was good. “The defendant Ljubomir said that ‘I mean, brother, it’s so good, it doesn’t give you a hangover the next day,’ which the defendant Nuno confirmed by saying: ‘nothing, nothing, spectacular, man,'” says the prosecution.

The telephone contacts in which Stanisic is mentioned are justified by the fact that Nuno Marino, under wiretaps, is accused of drug trafficking in a broken network by the Criminal Investigation Division of the PSP in Lisbon, with which, it should be noted, it has no relation.
