In the North, Guimarães (142 new cases) and Vila Nova de Gaia (92), which last week were the municipalities with the highest incidence per 100,000 inhabitants, continued to register the highest number of new cases in absolute terms.

Vila do Conde (76 new cases) and Porto (71), just below this level, nevertheless had more significant increases in cases from one week to the next.
