CThe IRS deadline for delivery began this Thursday, April 1, and this year refunds are “expected” to reach taxpayers’ pockets sooner, which may lead more people to rush delivery.
According to the information contained in the Finance Portal, 198,399 tax returns have been filed so far. I mean, almost 200 thousand taxpayers have already complied with this tax obligation.
Given the high volume of accesses, it is common for the Finance Portal to experience limitations in the first days. On the social network Twitter there are already several complaints from people who tried to hand over the IRS, but without success.
The Ministry of Finance stressed, this Thursday, in response to the News to the minute, which is normal that there is an overload of accesses in the first hours of delivery of the IRS, but remembered that taxpayers have three months to file the return. He asks, therefore, that there is no “rush” in the early hours, to avoid embarrassment.
The filing of the IRS return begins online, mandatorily online at the finance portal.

According to ECO, there are taxpayers covered by the automatic IRS who are instructed to fill out manually, but the functionality is “temporarily unavailable.”
The filing of the annual IRS return on income earned in 2020 begins today and runs until June 30, and almost two-thirds of taxpayers can, if they choose, take advantage of the automatic IRS.
As has been the case since 2018, the filing of the IRS return must be done exclusively electronically, which implies that taxpayers are in possession of a valid password to access the Finance Portal.
