On the night of Saturday, December 12, Laura Figueiredo, Mickael Carreira’s wife, broke the silence about the death of her sister-in-law, Sara Carreira. On Instagram, Laura wrote a long text about her relationship with the young woman. Read in full:
They are beautiful moments like this, your smile and the brightness that has always characterized you, the way I keep you present in me today and always.
I can hear your voice clearly calling Bea, “Baby bommm”, every time we got close to you, and the way they ran towards each other, watching them together playing with Roxy and Molly.
When I looked for a photo today, it was the one that calmed me, seeing you as you are, beautiful without any pose, simply living, loving, I took it without you realizing why they were both beautiful, because these moments filled my heart.
In the last years it was the photographs that I took of you, I could not imagine that I would need them so much.
You were always the most excited about the holidays, everything had to be perfect, you could think of everyone, imagine what the moment would be like, we are so close to Christmas that it was the party you liked the most, it was difficult to have you until midnight because you wanted to See everyone’s face when they saw your gift, in October you already said “I already have Bea’s gift, it will be the best of all”, you would love to play with your mother saying that she liked you better.
I don’t know how we’re going to do it now, I can’t imagine.
It calms me to know that we will always have you with us, I know that you will keep us and protect us forever, it makes me feel good to believe that it is true, that we exist beyond this life, it makes me feel good that you are with mine, above, who together they take care of us as we learn to deal with this pain.
