Founded in 1988 by the brothers André Fernandes Jorge and João Miguel Fernandes Jorge, Cotovia has always devoted special attention to the publication of theater and poetry. The publishing house is also known for its collection of classical authors, under which Frederico Lourenço published his translations of Iliad me Odyssey, which recently had new editions of Quetzal.
