Boavista made official this Monday the transfer of Musa Juwara, an 18-year-old Gambian winger from Bologna, who arrives in Bessa for one season and with a purchase clause set at 7.5 million euros.
Musa has an impressive life story, having arrived in Sicily at just 14 years old, alone, orphaned, by boat, as a refugee and after having crossed the Mediterranean with the dream of becoming a professional footballer.

When they told me about this possibility, I never had doubts about signing for Boavista and now I want to start training with my new teammates. I am a fast and attacking player, but I also defend and work for the team. I like to score goals! It has been a long journey here. I left the Gambia for Italy and now for Portugal. It has been a long journey in my life. I have worked hard my whole life, I sacrificed myself to be where I am now. I suffered a lot to change my life and be a professional player. Since I was a child in the Gambia, this was my dream.
