The Shanghai SIPG announced on Thursday the agreement for the departure of Vítor Pereira. The 52-year-old Portuguese coach leaves the Chinese emblem after a season in which he was eliminated in the semi-finals of the championship by future champion Jiangsu Sungin and in the round of 16 of the Asian Championship by the Japanese by Vissel Kobe.

Former FC Porto coach (2011 to 2013), Vítor Pereira arrived at Shanghai SIPG in 2018, after passing through Al-Ahli Jeddah, Olympiakos, Fenerbahçe and 1860 Munich. He ended up winning a championship (2018) and a Super Cup (2019).
