The Sporting SAD communicated to the Securities Market Commission (CMVM), on the afternoon of this Monday, the amounts involved in the transfer of Marcos Acuña to Seville.

Thus, the Spanish club pays 10.5 million euros for the hiring of the Argentine international, a sum to which it could add 2 million euros for contractually established objectives.

The brokerage services amount to 1.05 million euros.

Already the value of the Solidarity Mechanism due to third clubs will be supported by Sporting and Sevilla, in equal parts.

SPORTING CLUBE DE PORTUGAL – FUTEBOL, SAD (hereinafter Sporting SAD or Sociedade) comes, under the terms and in order to comply with the information obligation derived from the provisions of article 248A of the Portuguese Securities Code, inform the market that has reached an agreement with Sevilla Futbol Club, SAD (hereinafter Sevilla) for the permanent transfer of the sporting and economic rights of the player Marcos Acuña. In exchange for the transfer, Sporting SAD will receive a fixed amount of € 10,500,000.00 (ten million and five hundred thousand euros), plus a conditional amount of up to € 2,000,000.00 (two million euros), to be paid in function of obtaining objectives (i) related to the player’s participation in the matches and (ii) related to the participation of the Sevilla football team in the Champions League. It is also reported that the charges for the intermediation services related to the aforementioned transfer amount to € 1,050,000.00 (one million and fifty thousand euros) and that the amount of the Solidarity Mechanism owed to third clubs will be borne by Sporting SAD and Sevilla, in equal parts.
