The information is recent and was advanced by the newspaper Ole: Leopoldo Luque, Diego Armando Maradona’s personal physician, was accused by the Argentine justice of negligent homicide, after the investigation opened on Saturday. The search warrant was signed by San Isidro District Judge Orlando Díaz and allowed police to begin searching the doctor’s home and clinic.

According to the Argentine publication, the testimonies of Diego Maradona’s three daughters, Dalma, Giannina and Jana, were fundamental in this process. According to what is circulating, Maradona and Leopoldo Luque had a serious discussion days before Diego’s death.

From that moment on, Luque stopped following the patient permanently on a day-to-day basis, limiting himself to prescribing telephone treatment to the nurses who were in the D10S residence, in the Tigre area.

At this point it is still unknown if Leopoldo Luque was detained by the Argentine police.

It is important to remember that Leopoldo Luque was the doctor who accompanied Diego Maradona in recent times, specifically in the hospitalization and in the surgery that occurred at the beginning of November.
