Interpol issued an international arrest warrant for the wife of a US diplomat accused of causing the death of a young British man in the United Kingdom, according to the victim’s family.

Harry Dunn’s family spokesman Radd Seiger confirmed Tuesday that Interpol had issued a red warning about Anna Sacoolas, accused in December of driving dangerously and causing death in a car accident in August last year.

The Red Notice is a request for detention for the purpose of extradition issued to wanted persons after an arrest warrant or court decision in the requesting country, without exactly constituting an arrest warrant.

Harry Dunn, a 19-year-old Briton, died after his motorcycle collided with a car he was driving on the wrong side of the road near a US base in central England.

The woman, allegedly an agent of the US information services agency CIA, has invoked diplomatic immunity to return to the United States, and Washington has repeatedly rejected requests for extradition from the British court.
