The Mozambican authorities have already announced that they will investigate what happened. The defense minister said the images were horrible and said he would do everything possible to find out if the men featured are military.
The video shows several men dressed in military uniforms beating and shooting a woman who was naked on the side of a road.
It all happened in the province of Cabo Delgado, the scene of actions by Muslim extremists from Al-Shabab. A province in northern Mozambique, where the army is also accused of violating human rights.
The men in the video speak Portuguese and follow the woman for several minutes. After a beating, the shooting begins, stopping only when there are several calls in that direction.

However, the Armed Forces have issued a statement in which they describe the images as shocking, disgusting, abusive and totally reprehensible.
Human rights organizations are shocked and do not stop the revolt.
Zenaida Machado, of the Human Rights Watch organization, in statements to the BBC, defended that if this crime was committed by the military, the confidence of the population in the authorities was definitely undermined.
The activist added that scared people should not flee from extremists and then find themselves in danger with those who should keep them safe.
There are many Mozambicans on social media who are puzzled by the video. Many are calling for those responsible to be harshly punished and calling for the intervention of the Southern African development community.
