Impresa sells positions in Vasp e Lusa to Marco Galinha’s group – Media

Impresa announced this Monday that it proceeded to the sale of two assets, in an operation carried out with the Civilized Pages that represents a cash of 3.35 million euros for the holder of the SIC.

Pages Civilized is a company owned by Grupo Bel, owned by Marco Galinha, which in 2020 took control of Global Notícias, the company that owns Diário de Notícias, TSF and other media.

Impresa sold 33.33% of Vasp – Distribuidora de Publições for 2.1 million euros and sold 22.35% of the capital of Lusa – Agência de Notícias de Portugal for 1.25 million euros.

This operation values ​​the newspaper distributor at 6.36 million euros and the news agency at 5.6 million euros.

The sale of the position in Vasp depends on an accounting and financial audit, the non-exercise of the right of first refusal by Vasp shareholders, the consent of Vasp and the non-opposition to the transaction by the Competition Authority.
