Alfredo Quintana and Iker Casillas defended the FC Porto networks, although in different modalities, and will remain forever linked to the club’s history.

Former FC Porto player Iker Casillas left a message of gratitude to the “eternal” Alfredo Quintana, a dragon handball player who died today after a cardiac arrest suffered on Monday during the Porto team’s training sessions.

“Eternal Quintana. A big hug to family and friends,” the 39-year-old former Spanish international goalkeeper wrote on Twitter, who in 2019 suffered an acute myocardial infarction during a training session at FC Porto, which forced him to undergo to an urgent catheterization and, months later, to end his career.
