The artist did not completely abandon music, but now he is dedicated to psychoanalysis, he chose the city to open a future practice, and is already a fan of Governors do Minho.
Vinny studied law in his youth and fell in love with philosophy. However, she opted for an artistic career, and after a decade of dedication and with more than 30 years, success came with Todomundo, from 1997, and Na Gandaia, from 1998, both certified as “Gold Records”. ”By the Brazilian Association of Record Producers (ABPD).
“Until one day I realized that concerts were declining, there was a natural decline in my career and I thought it was time to return to my old passion. I graduated in Philosophy and I never stopped, ”Vinny told O MINHO.
“I did a master’s degree in Social Sciences in Buenos Aires, and I spent about six months without a very clear destination for what to do, and the idea of training in psychoanalysis came up, which is complementary to all these studies. I receive my diploma next week. It is a personal achievement and also an investment in the future ”.
The singer, born in the city of Leme, in the state of São Paulo, but based in Rio de Janeiro, is an advocate for online care, and already has patients in Braga.
“Being able to help people and hear them say that they are enjoying the meetings, which is being relevant, is what we hope as psychoanalysts. I confess that my training is for online services, which has recently been viewed with suspicion by more orthodox professionals. But today, especially with the pandemic, everyone, even the professionals who criticized it, had to adopt it as a practice for obvious reasons “, said the singer of other songs such as” Shake Boom “,” Uh Tiazinha “and” Find Me Again ” .
“My research on the training at the end of the course was precisely on how the vision of the online service is different today, which I believe a lot, the method is the same, it is effective, it has the same validity, and the results are valuable. However, in some cases it is not appropriate, when there is violence, for example, for it to be in person. When it comes to psychoanalysis, it is perfectly feasible to do care online, it’s the same ”.
Passion for Braga, Gerês and the beaches of Esposende
Vinícius Bonotto Conrado, the name behind the artist, met Braga through friends who chose the city to experience the reform. The passion was so immediate that the singer has already bought two apartments in the municipality and does not want to postpone his arrival long.
“I intend to live in Braga next year. A city that has a structure that I loved, it has everything we need, it is a safe, welcoming city, also with many Brazilians, and we ended up sharing the culture, what was really lacking was to think about the professional part. I also love Gerês, the beaches of Esposende, even with the wind and cold water. The proximity to cities like Guimarães and Porto, in addition to the airport, is also great ”, evaluated Vinny, who has a 20-year-old son who lives in Lisbon and has already adopted SC Braga as his club.
“I went to see an SC Braga-Vitória SC. In Rio de Janeiro, I’m from Vasco da Gama, and I transferred some of my love from Vasco to SC Braga, and I was lucky, because we won ”.

What is left for Vinny to pack his bags and embark for Portugal is to solve the legal problems.
“To attend in person, I need to make an adjustment due to the legislation, I need to see how it is possible to open an office in Portugal. You may need to study something there for some time and use the knowledge of psychoanalysis as an aggregator. In online mode, I can serve any Brazilian anywhere in the world. I already have patients who live in Braga. I am seeing these adjustments so as not to commit irregularities, “he said.
Until he answered all these questions well, Vinny continued his musical career in Brazil. Recently, the singer joined the band LS Jack, which was also very successful in the country with songs like “Carla” and “Amanhã Não Se Sabe”. But only from Wednesday to Saturday. On other days, total dedication is focused on psychoanalysis.
