“I only did a few minutes of exercise”

Cristiano Ronaldo went to train this Thursday at the Estádio da Choupana, and taking into account the current context of social isolation in a state of emergency, due to the covid-19 pandemic, the situation deserved explanations from the Madeira Regional Government.

In the regular update of the daily bulletin on the new coronavirus, the Regional Secretary for Health and Civil Protection of the region guaranteed that the Portuguese international did not commit any irregularity.

“There was no special authorization for the athlete to develop during any type of exercise, especially since their practice is not prohibited. All citizens can leave the house and do so, provided they do not provoke meetings and keep a safe distance during the exercise”.
