How to avoid abstention and the virus, when going to the polls? Three experts explain

In the midst of the third wave of the pandemic, it may seem inconsistent to leave home to vote. We asked three experts if they are going to vote and if they consider that the exercise is safe. They answered yes and explained why.

“Not only will I vote, but I am a member of one of the polling stations. I believe that it is not a risk-free activity, but I hope that we are able to take care of it and minimize it for the good of all. Democracy must work. Over time, we should have considered postponing the elections. In the future, we will probably have to seek solutions that facilitate the exercise of this right with greater security ”.

“I voted last Sunday and I believe that voting is safe. However, of course, each voter must also contribute to their safety and that of everyone else.”
