The covid-19 outbreak detected in the Casa de São Pedro house in Alverca has already caused nine deaths, with 83 registered users and 49 infected workers, the Vila Franca de Xira City Council announced today.

In a statement, the municipality of Lisbon indicates a situation of the municipality’s homes, also indicating that 22 users died in the Misericórdia de Alhandra home, as revealed this afternoon to the Lusa agency by the Lisbon Regional Health Administration. and the Tagus Valley.

In the statement, the Vila Franca de Xira City Council continues to leave a message of tranquility, especially for the population of Alhandra, noting that the outbreak in the Misericórdia home “does not represent a danger or an aggravated risk of community transmission, as all positive cases – users and workers – are serving their respective isolation period and are being duly monitored by the authorities ”.
