Nowadays, it seems that it is becoming easier and easier to create supercars with outputs of more than 1000 horsepower, especially when electrification is included. This is the case with the Hongqi S9, a hybrid supercar from China. First of all, we start by remembering that it was presented at the 2019 Frankfurt Motor Show. At the time, the highlight was the price: 1.23 million euros. With this value, it becomes the most expensive Chinese model in history.
For now, we know the exterior appearance with marked sporty lines, but also the engine. According to the brand, the supercar is equipped with a V8 turbo gasoline engine, aided by electric motors, although it is not yet known how many there are in total. Together they will deliver 1,420 horsepower, something that will allow you to accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 1.9 seconds and reach a speed of around 400 km / h. Finally, it should be noted that only 70 units of the Hongqi S9 will be produced and production should start from 2021.
