The persons in question are seven women and one man, aged between 38 and 54, who work in a house in Stralsund, in north-eastern Germany.

During the administration of the vaccine, which took place on Sunday, the eight employees mistakenly received five doses of the vaccine, each time, according to the administrator of the district where the house is located, Stefan Kerth, quoted today by international agencies. .

The representative made sure everyone was immediately informed of the error.

Four employees were admitted to the hospital to observe mild flu symptoms, while the remaining three went home.

“I deeply regret this incident,” said Stefan Kerth, assuring that this situation is an isolated case caused by human error.

“I wish everyone concerned that there are no serious side effects,” he added.
