The Government announced that it will only announce new measures on Saturday that it will adopt within the framework of “a potential renewal of the state of emergency” due to the covid-19 pandemic.

“No decisions have been made yet,” the executive said in a statement. “Obviously there are several scenarios that are discussed with the experts but no decisions have been made,” reads the note released by Prime Minister António Costa’s office.
