The entire GNR device is on alert due to possible retaliation after Tuesday’s shooting in Fernão Ferro, Seixal.

Gunmen were seen Wednesday night in three white trucks. They were next to the house of the man who died in the shooting and went out to an uncertain place. Orders have been given for all military personnel to wear bulletproof vests. And the territorial posts must be behind closed doors. If pickup trucks are seen, you should stay away.

The military must report the sighting and accompany the vehicles until they are approached by intervention forces. The information was released by the GNR Operational Command and shared with the PSP.

This Tuesday, a man was killed in a shooting with the GNR, in a supermarket in Seixal. An arrest warrant for robberies falls on him.

The suspect responded by shooting when they tried to stop him. Two soldiers were injured, one had to undergo surgery. The victim’s family had already threatened GNR. They said that in the next few days two or three guards would die. The CM also knows that security has been strengthened for the guard at the hospital, as well as for the family.
