The controversy between FC Porto and Tondela grows. Francisco J. Marques, director of communication for dragons, responded to Pako Ayestarán’s comments in the preview of Sunday’s match, for the fourth day of the Portuguese Cup. The Tondela coach criticized, this Friday, the attitude of the Blue and Whites’ bench in the last game between the two teams for the championship, saying: “It seemed that they were the referees.”

Hours later, Francisco J. Marques went to his ‘Twitter’ page to respond to the Tondelense coach. “And here are images showing the FC Porto bench refereeing from the touchline and sometimes even on the field. It remains to be seen if Pako Ayestarán was simply ridiculous, or if he is providing an outside service …” he wrote.
