Test
The young Portuguese right-back of FC Porto will live in the second English league this season
The young Portuguese right-back Tomás Esteves will play, until the end of this season, in Reading, a second-level English football team, on loan from FC Porto, a deal that does not include a purchase option.
The 18-year-old footballer was not part of coach Sérgio Conceição’s elections and was not even registered in the League to play in the main Portuguese league.
Tomás Esteves made his debut in the FC Porto senior team last season, after having played three games, but now he has lost space with the arrival of Carraça and Nanú and with Sérgio Conceição’s bet on Manafá.
The young Portuguese, who won the Youth League with FC Porto in 2019, will now represent Reading and share a dressing room with Lucas João and Alfa Semedo.
