Fatima Parish prepares a religious initiative on May 12 with the Bishop of Funchal

The Fatima / Salesian parish is preparing a religious initiative for next May 12. This year, due to the impossibility of carrying out the traditional procession from the Fatima parish, in Funchal, to the Salesians, due to the covid-19 pandemic, the image of Our Lady will cross the streets of the parish (Zona da Rochinha and Zona do Faial) in a fire engine, starting at 9 p.m., ending in the Salesianos grounds, where there will be a small celebration, chaired by the Bishop of Funchal, D. Nuno Brás, with reserved seats, duly distanced, to comply with the regulations issued by the Government.

As usual, the Broadcasting Station of Funchal will transmit the third and the image of the Patron Saint will travel in collaboration with the City of Funchal, the Volunteer Firefighters and PSP.
