The police, family and friends have been searching since yesterday for a woman who is missing and who may need help. Luísa Ferreira Barreto is 38 years old, she was born in Funchal, lives in Santo Amaro and was last seen by her son, at home, between 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. Since then, the cell phone has been turned off and her whereabouts are unknown.
Although depression has not been diagnosed, this lady is on medication for anxiety and the family believes that she is not really well.
The alert is yesterday when Luísa will have asked her mother to pick up her daughter from school, who is usually the one who goes, since she is unemployed. In addition to this girl, she has two other children who are also minors and she is married.
When she was last seen, Luísa Ferreira Barreto was wearing black pants, a blouse with flowers and a black bag.
Although not yet 24 hours have passed, given the status of the lady, the PSP has already started to perform some searches, so far without success.
The family posted the missing information on Facebook, hoping someone could help locate the woman. Yesterday they received two leads, but both were unsuccessful.
