A technical problem in the ‘electronic invoice’ portal temporarily prevented the validation by consumers of invoices related to 2020, but since then it has been solved and it is possible to do so until February 25, the Ministry of Finance informed Lusa .
The Lusa agency has discovered today that it is not possible to validate last year’s invoices ‘online’, with the message “It is no longer possible to complete the information of the invoices for 2020”, despite the deadline for this effect. Not finished yet.
According to an official source from the Ministry of Finance, it was a “technical problem” related to the change of the year, which was detected last night and solved this morning.
The deadline to validate invoices in the Finance Portal, for the purposes of deduction in the IRS, ends the deadline of February 25.
“The value of the collection deductions is determined by the Tax and Customs Authority based on the invoices that are communicated to it, electronically, until February 25 of the year following the issuance, in relation to each buyer identified in them. ”, Reads -in article 78-B (5) of the Personal Income Tax Code (CIRS).
