Among the 75 deaths registered this Friday by the Directorate General of Health (DGS) there is a young man between 10 and 19 years old. It is the third death under the age of 20. The first happened in August, a four-month-old baby with a “very serious” heart disease, which was aggravated by covid-19 and caused his death. The second victim under 20 years old was confirmed a week ago, he was 19 years old and had “several associated pathologies.”
The young man referred to in this Friday’s epidemiological bulletin also had a “serious associated pathology,” according to JN. Expresso tried to confirm the information with DGS, so far without success.
The number of daily deaths from covid-19 in Portugal was once again below eight dozen, which has not happened since December 9 (in which 70 people died).
Of the 75 deaths reported in the bulletin of the General Health Directorate this Friday, 31 lived in the North, 27 in Lisbon and the Tagus Valley, 12 in the Center, four in the Alentejo and one in the Azores.
