Indian authorities found traces of cumbo and nickel in blood samples from hospitalized patients with mysterious disease in the state of Andhra Pradesh, India. The evidence may help explain the mysterious illness that led to the internment of half a thousand people in southeastern India.
According to Dolla Joshi Roy, a health surveillance officer in the city of Eluru, cited by CNN, the patients reported a number of symptoms, such as nausea, diarrhea or even seizures and loss of consciousness. The tests were conducted on covid-19, but all were negative.
The symptoms began to be studied by the Indian Institute of Medical Sciences. Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy’s office said preliminary results point to lead and nickel particles in blood samples from patients.
