“Today there are 12 new positive cases to report, so RAM begins to count 595 confirmed cases of Covid-19 in the regional territory. This is 1 case imported from the Central Region and 11 cases of local transmission (associated with previously identified cases), “explains the regional health authority.

“Today there are 32 more recovered cases to report. The region now has 421 recovered cases of COVID-19, with 2 deaths associated with COVID-19 that are now recorded in RAM,” recalls the death of a 97-year-old woman and a another 94 year old citizen.

There are still to be reported, a total of “13 new situations that are currently being studied by health authorities, related to contacts with positive cases or situations reported to the SRS24 line” and “epidemiological investigations are ongoing,” he guarantees.
