“The restrictions on circulation on public roads that take place on weekends and holidays, in the period between 1:00 pm and 5:00 am, do not apply on the eve of public holidays,” explained the Presidency of the Council of Ministers .

It is recalled that, as stipulated in the renewal of the state of Emergency, the executive divided the 278 municipalities of the continent into four groups, according to the levels of risk of transmission of the new coronavirus: “extremely high”, “very high”, ” high ”and“ moderate ”.
Thus, and as established in the decree published in the Diário da República, in the 127 counties classified as “extremely high” and “very high” risk, the curfew will remain in effect between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. the next day. . useful, as well as between 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. on the weekend of November 28 and 29, the weekend of December 5 and 6, and holidays of December 1 and 8.
On the eve of the holidays, commercial establishments will be closed from 15:00 in these 127 municipalities. In the 86 counties considered “high risk”, the curfew between 11 pm and 5 am will be in effect seven days a week.
In the entire continental territory, it will be prohibited to move between municipalities between 11 p.m. on November 27 and 5 a.m. on December 2, and between 11 p.m. on December 4 and 11:59 p.m. on December 8. from December.
