Discover the changes since Tuesday in mainland Portugal

The Council of Ministers approved a series of measures that will enter into force as of next Tuesday, September 15, with the entry into force of the State of Contingency in mainland Portugal

These are the measures that have been approved:

– Meetings are now limited to 10 people.

– Commercial establishments cannot open before 10 am, but there will be exceptions.

– The closing time of the establishments is between 8:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m., by decision of the municipalities.

– Restaurant areas in shopping centers now have a maximum limit of four people per group.

– It is prohibited to sell alcoholic beverages at service stations and after 8 pm in all establishments (except meals).

– The sports facilities, as had already been anticipated this week, will be left without public.

– The consumption of alcoholic beverages on public roads is also prohibited.

With the return of face-to-face classes, the council of ministers approved the following measures:

– Schools must adopt contingency plans and dispose of disinfectants, following the regulations of the General Directorate of Health.

– In cafes and pastry shops up to 300 meters from schools, there is now a maximum limit of four people per group.

For metropolitan areas, changes are also required in the way businesses need to organize:

– Mirror equipment

. Billing scale between teleworking and face-to-face work

– Mandatory period of time:

. Differentiated entry and exit times
. Different times for breaks and meals.

– Reduction of pendulum movements
